You Are Welcome at Household of Faith

We are a diverse group of Christians in Garland, Texas who desire to glorify the Lord individually and in Christian unity.

Faith

We affirm that Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is the only way for man to receive forgiveness of sin and Salvation – “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9

Family

We affirm that everyone who believes in Christ for salvation has been adopted into God’s family. And because we are all part of God’s family, we have a family relationship with one another – brothers and sisters in Christ. – “For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, ‘Abba, Father.’” Romans 8:15

Fellowship

We affirm that fellowship in Christ with other believers is essential to support and encourage one another to live out the Christian life – “not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.” Hebrews 10:25

Missions

Household of Faith is deeply committed to spreading the gospel to those who have not heard.  Over 35% of our budget goes toward missions, primarily outside the US.   It is our belief that every local church is commanded to spread the gospel both in their “Jerusalem” and “to the uttermost part of the world” (Acts 1:8).  We are involved in both.
