Price school and GNC update and prayer
requests 2/17/02
Last Thursday was the Valentines party GNC at Price elementary. It went
very well. There were over 50 kids and the Holy Spirit was truly
working because
on the hearts of many of the workers was the importance of spending more
time with ³one on one² with the children. Loretta Johnson did the Valentines
lesson and she taught about Godıs plan for families. The workers brought
family pictures and those were shown too. Jay Johnson gave his testimony.
Then valentines cookies were given out and everyone just walked around
and visited with the kids! Songs were song led by the Bridgmans.
Prayer Requests:
Continued prayer by all especially for each child when possible. Let us
know if you would like specific names to pray for.
Pray for Mrs. Johnsonıs club and the possiblity of the Lord influencing
others through it. ( there has been some interest from the nearby Methodist
church.)
Pray for the church in Richardson that there would be an increase of workers.
As always please pray for the workers
here and enthusiam and especially the workers would be doing all prayfully |
The Good News Club at Price will soon
be finishing up the school year. In March Annie Zachary taught an enlightening
lesson about the famous St. Patrick and how he shared his faith with others
in Ireland. His true story
is a very inspiring one. On March 28th we had a Resurrection Party and
learned about Christ's last days on Earth. The gospel was clearly presented
and several children stayed for counseling. Loretta Johnson shared about
the symbols associated with Easter and their true meaning. We had cookies
and games, as well.
Our new six week unit focuses on prayer and Elizabeth Montgomery will
be teaching. Beka Hendrick and the Bridgmans will share songs and the
Zachary family will lead the games. Rachel Holzapful will teach the memory
verse each week.
Please continue to pray for this club,
the one Nancy Dostalik, Elizabeth Montgomery and Beka Hendrick are teaching
at Mrs. Johnson's house on Tuesdays, and all the other school clubs in
the metroplex. Our enrollment grows each week. We especially need prayer
to continue a good relationship with the school officials and the principal.

GNC update and
Prayer requests.
Thursdayıs GNC went well on and there was an attendance of about 38
children.
They were attentive listening to bible stories about Jesus and His love
and the need to pray even when we donıt really feel like it.
Again there was a special time when children separated into groups and
talked about personal prayer requests. For many of the children, this
means a lot to talk about their needs and/or their family needs and
praying for them.
Prayer requests:
1.For the children, that they would continue to be thirsty for the Word
even though it is near summer and school will be over.
2.For possibly some of their parents to volunteer to have a five day
club in their home.
3.Wisdom for the workers that they would be able to present Godıs Word in
such a way as to continue to be used to draw the children to Him.
4. That the workers too, would not grow tired. "Do not grow
tired in doing good, for in due season you shall reap, if you faint not."
Gal 6:9.
5. For the parents of the children, that she may see "fruit"
and be "hungry."
6. For CEF the Dallas office, that the Lord would provide adequate
funds.
7. For the GNC at Mrs. Johnsonıs, esp. there would be enough helpers the
next two weeks.
8. For those going to CYIA and funds.

Good
News Club Update and Prayer Requests
On Thursday, the children heard Elizabeth Montgomery
teach on the last lesson on prayer and how the Lord hears us when we
pray for others and also how it can make such a difference to Godıs
people.
Jer 29:12-13 ³Then
you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And
you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.²
Next Thursday will be our last meeting
until the fall at
Price school. The Wordless Book will be taught as well as specific things
with the colors of the wordless book. It will be a bit sad, parting until
fall. It has been a grand time for all! Such a blessing from the Lord.
He heard our prayers and used Household of Faith to do His work!!!!!!!!
Please pray for:
1.The GNC at 3 to 4:15 PM, on Thursday
this coming week, that there would be an atmosphere of hunger for the
message of salvation and that the Lord would be truly drawing all to
Himself.
2.The children and their families, that the Lord Jesus would be an
important part of there lives this summer and the Word heard would not be
forgotten.
3. For those going to CYIA camp- Ruth, Grace and Cara and funds for
them.
4. That there would be many wanting to host a five day club this summer.

Update
for GNC 5/26/02
The final meeting for the GNC at Price was Thursday
May 16. Loretta Johnson told the story of Jesus. The memory verse was John
3:16.
The children received copies of the Wordless book, as well as printed
instructions and a tract, also a bracelet with the wordless book colors
and jellybeans in the colors of the wordless book. Beka led in the
singing. It was sad that this was the last GNC until school starts in
August.
The last meeting at Mrs. Johnson's house was on Tuesday May 21. There wasnıt
an empty seat in the house!!!!! Beka led in telling about the wordless
book. The children received the wordless book, tract, bracelet, jelly
beans all in the Gold, black, red, white and green colors as well as
balloons. It was a really joyful party and hopefully the children
understood the message of salvation and will be able and desirous to
relate it to others this summer. They all verbalized how they could hardly
wait until August when the GNC starts up again!!
See a group picture of the kids at Mrs. Johnsons
>>>
Starting June 2, Sunday. we will be

Prayer Requests
For the five day clubs.
Possibly having one at HOF, possibly inviting the kids from Price.
Those going to CYIA and for their activities.
Direction from the Lord as to whether we should do another club

For the children, that their tender hearts would be drawn to the word this
summer.
